Sophos Mobile Control

Description

Give your users the latest mobile technology while keeping your organization’s data safe.  This mobile security solution allows administrators to remotely lock and wipe devices to prevent data loss and ensure compliance.  Sophos Mobile Control allows users to register and protect their devices through a simple self-service portal, while letting you manage installed apps on a device from central console and deploy and remove as needed.  Sophos Mobile Control protects iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows Mobile devices.

Key Features

  • Single-console Management - A single, central role-based, web console for iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices.
  • Wipe Lost or Stolen Devices - Admins and/or users can remotely lock devices and wipe data in seconds if a mobile device is lost or stolen.
  • Securely Access Email - Manage access to your organization's email using a secure proxy to Exchange ActiveSync.  Mobile Control regularly checks to make sure only compliant devices have email server access.
  • Inventory Management - Get an overview of all mobile devices in your company and their state.  See device model, OS version and many other properties of the device.
  • Approve User Apps - An Enterprise App Store for iPhone, iPad and Android allows for the definition of apps that users can or should have installed on their mobile device.  It works with publicly available apps or apps that you have created in-house.
  • Monitor Compliance - A dashboard allows you to see when devices aren't compliant and take action if you need to.
