Thank you for coming to view this Productive exclusive on ARCserve Backup r16. In this video, we'll give you a quick walkthrough of some of the key new features included with ARCserve Backup.

Let’s start with Integrated Cloud Storage. ARCserve Backup allows you to Manage cloud storage to Eucalyptus and Amazon S3 from the Archive Manager Start Tab. Manually format cloud devices. Password protect your cloud folder and set retention time as well as automatically purge expired data, via your Cloud Purge Policy (via Backup Manager / Restore Manager).

Synthetic Full Backup is another new key feature. Synthetic Full Backups allow you to create a parent full backup. From then on, changes to your system will be saved incrementally, saving you time and space. Incremental + Parent Backup files are merged to restore your system

Archiving features are now available in r16. The Archive Manager lets you manage restore and archive jobs. Set filters to selectively exclude and include directories and files for archiving. You can Encrypt and compress archive data. The option to send your Archived data to the cloud for storage is also made available 

Finally, integration with D2D is now offered. You can access ARCserve D2D servers from the ARCserve Backup user interface. Configure and restore Files, folders and data from D2D sessions on ARCserve Backup media. There is now one-click access to the D2D home page, backup settings and recovery points
